1. How to delete your account in the app

The delete-account feature is available to signed-in users and can be completed in the app:

Open Merit Ledger and make sure you are signed in.
Go to "Me / Settings".
Open "Account & Security" (or "Account Management").
Tap "Delete Account".
Complete identity verification and confirm deletion.

2. If you cannot sign in

If you cannot access your account (lost device, sign-in issue, etc.), email meritledger@163.com with your account email and required verification info. We will assist after identity verification.

3. What data is deleted

Account profile and authentication linkage are deleted or anonymized.
Cloud-synced records associated with the account are deleted.
Local data on your device is not automatically removed by remote account deletion.

4. Data retention

After request submission and verification, deletion is processed within a reasonable period.
Minimum necessary logs may be retained for legal, security, and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymized.
